Through June 2025, the Art Gallery in the Polish Cultural Center presents the art of Adam Dopierala.

You can view the PHA Gallery most Friday evenings when the restaurant is open and at other PHA events. The works of the presented artists are available for viewing in our gallery and can also be purchased directly from the artist. Purchasing artwork is a significant recognition for the artist and additionally sponsors PHA.

Born and raised in the state of Washington, I started teaching myself photography in early 2020 and I have embarked on the endless journey to capture unique perspectives in the Pacific Northwest and anywhere I may find myself with my camera. I create images varying from landscapes, adventure, wildlife, lifestyle and honestly, anything that catches my eye and has photographic potential.

I have a somewhat nonchalant approach to my photography. I generally don’t have a direct plan for what I want to capture at any given moment. I snap a photo of anything I find interesting and gives some context to a story behind a subject or sparks an emotion for me. There are moments that happen so fast I just roll the dice and see what happens. Some of my favorite photos I’ve captured are in the heat of the moment. A lot of it has to do with luck and being in the right place at the right time but I think that’s what makes the process of photography so special and personal to me. There are some instances where I take time to slow down and use that opportunity to be present and in the moment. I find it very cathartic and it helps me focus on the beauty of the world around us.
