Marion Ossowski Has Died

Marion Jan “Marian” Ossowski, a longtime member of the Polish community, died on September 13, 2021 after battling COVID-19 for several weeks. He was 70. Regretfully, Marion was not vaccinated; his wife Alicja, who survived COVID-19 and recovered, urges everyone to get vaccinated.

Born in Szczecin in 1951 and trained as a railway technician, Marian arrived in the United States in 1981 adapting and learning several new trades in the new country; his latest job was as a real estate agent. He was an active member of the Polish Home Association and the community and supported community events; among others, Marion served several times as the volunteer beer garden manager at the Polish Festival at the Seattle Center.

Marion is survived by his wife Alicja Jarosz and daughter Anna Migula, step-daughter Sylwia Jarosz, four grandchildren, sister Tola Pytlasinski and also by brother Aleksander Ossowski in Poland.
