Best Movie of the Seattle Polish Film Festival

The Seattle Polish Film Festival announced viewers’ choice award for the best movie of the festival. The Seattle Spirit of Polish Cinema Award goes to the following movie:

  • Black Sheep / Czarna Owca – directed by Aleksander Pietrzak, screenplay by Bartosz Kozera, cinematography by Mateusz Pastewka

The runners up with the same number of votes were

  • March ’68 / Marzec ’68 directed by Krzysztof Lang and
  • Girls to Buy / Dziewczyny z Dubaju directed by Maria Sadowska

For the best documentary, a Certificate of Recognition went to

  • Chopin. I Am Not Afraid of Darkness – directed by Joanna Kaczmarek
  • On the Front Line. Fleeing Irpin – directed by Maciej Przedlacki
