The Camas Public Library in Camas, WA presents an exhibition and book signing event organized by the Camas Sister City Organization. The book “Silesian Stories” has been written by Lloyd Halverson and printed in Polish and English by the City of Krapkowice, Poland. Krapkowice is a sister city to Camas. Book themes include resilience and connections between Silesia region in Poland and America, as well as episodes from the regional history. It is richly illustrated with photos, watercolors, and copies of historical documents. The exhibition features watercolor paintings by the artist Ulrike Halverson that were used in the book.

This is the timeline of the exhibition and book signing:

• The opening reception is on Friday, October 7 from 5 to 8 pm
• Book signing is on Wednesday, October 12, at 6:30 pm
• Exhibition runs from October 7 till October 31, 2022 and is available at the Camas Public Library Second Story Gallery during library hours.
