Win $100! If you needed a proof that the Seattle Polish Film Festival (SPFF) is coming back to town after a 2020 hiatus, this is it! The festival just announced its traditional art competition to design a poster for the 2021 SPFF coming in the fall.
The SPFF is looking for artists, photographers, graphic designers, etc., to submit designs for the 2021 Seattle Polish Film Festival poster. SPFF committee members, in partnership with members of the Seattle-Gdynia Sister City Association (SGSCA) are looking for new designs reflecting the essence of Polish/American cinema. All entries must be submitted electronically and will be judged on originality and artistic merit. The winning submission will become the property of SPFF and become the official poster and festival program cover, as well as being featured on the festival website and other promotional material.
There are no entry fees and artists, photographers, graphic designers, etc., are encouraged to submit multiple entries, as long as each entry has a distinct design.
Need some inspiration? Google Polish poster art, polish cinema, etc. You’ll be surprised at what you see! We look forward to seeing your creativity. The winning designs of the last three poster contests (for 2019, 2018 & 2017 SPFFs) you can see above.
To submit your entry, simply send a 4×6 100-dpi jpeg of your design to Patrycja by July 31st, 2021. Include your name, address, phone number and email.
