Never Gonna Snow Again is a subversive comedy that tells a story of an Ukrainian man, Zhenia (played by the Ukrainian actor Alec Utgoff), who moves to Poland to work as a masseur and becomes a guru healing not only the bodies but also the souls of rich clients living in a gated community. Szumowska, 47, is one of the most prominent Polish directors. Michal Englert, 45, the screenwriter for the movie with Szumowska, as well as the film co-director, has collaborated with Szumowska for a long time. Among others, he received awards for cinematography of 33 Scenes From Life (2008) and for Body (2016), as well as an award for the script for Body.
