Celebrated composer Bogdan Pawłowski’s gorgeous ballet “Snow White and The Seven Dwarves”–inspired by the Grimm Brothers’ fairy tale–arrives in Seattle just in time for the holiday season and brings in a welcome alternative to the children holiday perennial “Nutcracker”.
Performed by the extraordinarily talented and mission-driven company Grand Kyiv Ballet (which also adds some Disney flair to their interpretation of Pawłowski’s work), “Snow White” stars brilliant prima ballerinas Kateryna Kukhar and Petra Conti, as well as renowned ballet dancers Anastasia Gurska, Kateryna Didenko, Mie Nagasawa, Mykola Horodynski, and Viktor Tomashek. Expect to be whisked away on a magical, sensational journey through a beautiful ballet performance, music, sets, costumes, and more. Make lasting memories with loved ones at the ballet this December.
The Grand Kyiv Ballet was established in Ukraine by Oleksandr Stoianov in 2014; besides promoting the enjoyment of ballet around the world, one of their goals is to raise awareness and funds.
